Homeopathy for Bedwetting or Nocturnal Enuresis
BEDWETTING- NOCTURNAL ENEURESIS
INTRODUCTION
Bedwetting can be distressing and embarrassing, but it's important to know that occasional bedwetting is normal as children grow up.
Most children outgrow bedwetting naturally, but not addressing chronic cases can harm a child's self-esteem and social development. Homeopathic medicines are a safe and natural option for treating bedwetting in children.
Bedwetting is twice as common in males as compared to females, although it can affect anyone. If the child isn't bothered, simple changes like reducing evening fluid intake, avoiding caffeine, and improving toilet habits can help manage the issue.
The causes of bedwetting are not fully understood, but factors like slower physical development, excessive nighttime urine production, difficulty recognising a full bladder while asleep, and anxiety may contribute. There could also be a genetic link, as children with bedwetting parents have a higher chance of experiencing it themselves.
The medical term for bedwetting is "nocturnal enuresis." Primary nocturnal enuresis means a child has always wet the bed, while secondary nocturnal enuresis occurs after a period of dryness and is often linked to emotional causes.
Homeopathy is suggested as a helpful and safe approach to address bedwetting.
